Which birds will visit in your nest box?
Spring is coming and birds will soon start to search for a place to build their nest. Take the chance to create a bird nest box and to learn how to use in a different way waste materials. You will recycle a milk or juice carton box and natural materials (leaves, sticks, bark, moss and many more) to create a fantastic bird house! You will help city birds, who are in need of a good and safe place where to build their nest. In this workshop, we will discuss where is the best location and position to hang the nest box, and which bird species may choose it. Children will learn how to be more creative in thinking of recycling and upcycling projects and how we should use resources in a more sustainable manner.
