Guided nature walks
These memorable walks are a wonderful way to relax and connect with nature! They are organized for everybody (children, families, and friends) to explore the secrets of particular forests and parks in and around Munich (Forstenrieder, Perlacher, Grünwald, Waldtruderinger, Allacher Forests, West Park, Isar Park, Bavaria Park, Isar forests, et al). These guided walks include wildlife discoveries, and lessons on animal behavior, plants, mushrooms, lichens, history and ecology of the park.

Cost:
only families: 25 Eur per child - parents and siblings of less than 3 years join for free - you can bring strollers for younger children if needed - (min 3 children)
only adults (no children): 12 Eur per person (min 5 persons)

Birthday Parties
Little Wildlife Explorers arranges three birthday party packages. These are organized to celebrate your child's birthday in a very special and unique way and to make happy memories that will last a lifetime!
Choose which birthday party package:
#1 - Nature scavenger hunt - The birthday child and her or his guests are given a special guided tour through a park or forest and they are involved in a super fun nature scavenger hunt, during which they search for different nature clues (animal tracks and signs, homes, sounds, plants, mushrooms, etc..) along a nature trail. During this intrepid adventure, we observe and examine each nature clue that we encounter, and learn the secrets of the local wildlife, how to identify animals and their behavior, plants, mushrooms, and lichens’ characteristics, and finally, their importance to the ecosystem. If desired, the scavenger hunt can also be focused only on specific animals like birds, insects, forest mammals (foxes, badgers, squirrels, et al.), freshwater animals (frogs, fishes, snails, et al.), flowers, mushrooms, plants, etc. The children follow a special map until they find a final hidden treasure. Choose a preferred park or forest where you would like to celebrate your child’s party, then we will arrange together the meeting point (examples: Forstenrieder, Perlacher, Grünwald, Waldtruderinger, Allacher Forests, and West Park, Isar Park, Bavaria Park, Rosengarten, et al).

#2 - Nature crafts - enjoy a private celebration at your house, cafe’, biergarten or in an outdoor picnic area, while your birthday child and her or his guests have fun together by creating something very special to help the local wildlife. The first part of the workshop is an introductory session to learn more about the local wildlife, what is needed to help, and its importance. By using only natural and recycling materials, the children will create birdhouses and feeders, insect hotels, butterfly feeders, seed bombs, nesting dispensers, and so on. Your child can choose what she or he would like to create together with her or his guests.

#3 - Nature scavenger hunt and crafts - these are a combination of an outdoor nature walk and a nature crafts class, before the children's party cake. The nature walk is in a park or forest near an area where the children can do their nature crafts, thus where they have plenty of space to create something to help the local animals and plants (e.g. in an outdoor picnic area or indoors in a house, cafe’, Biergarten).
