Third visit: Loggers around

27th April 2020

It has been raining early this morning, thus it was pleasant to go back to the forest with some new fresh air. The Blackbird nest has still its three eggs and the Song thrush has its 4 eggs. I went to visit the second Song thrush nest but not eggs yet. This nest has been build next to the main road where loggers go through quite often, we hope the Song thrush couple will continue to nest. Unfortunately, it was not a quite morning, many loggers were loading their trucks with trunks. It was very noisy and disturbing.
