what is a bee? How to identify one? During this workshop, we will understand how to distinguish bees from similar insects, explore their life cycle, why they are in danger, and how we can help the species to survive. We will draw a bee and examine pictures, and we will build together a bee hotel to hang in your garden, balcony or next to your house window.

You will need to have available:
2-3 empty tin boxes OR old milk/fruit juices cartoon boxes OR 1L-2L plastic bottle OR long glass jars
A small bunch of paper straws (ok plastic)
Pencil or pen
Several sheets of paper (white or other colors)
plenty of wool string or twine cord
scissors
Utility knife
Plastic tape
A small bunch of sticks (optional)
Paper glue stick (optional)

How is the life cycle of a butterfly? How long does it live? Why butterflies’ wings have different colors? In this workshop, we will look in detail at some charismatic butterflies and their Life Cycle. We will build together a butterfly feeder and see how to create a beautiful butterfly garden.
