The forest along the Isar River is a unique environment where terrestrial and freshwater habitats join together and it is a great opportunity to observe the vast number of different species of plants and animals. We will learn who lives there, and how they have adapted to living near the city, and we will learn how to search and identify animal tracks and signs. This is going to be an amazing and joyful experience for the whole family!
Meeting point: The session is conducted along the Isar river in a forested area in Sendling. I will contact you directly about the meeting place details.
Age: 3-10 years old
Duration of a session: 2 hours
Number of children: a max of 10.
Parents/grandparents join for free. a max of 2 adults for each child and siblings of less than 3 years are welcome to join.
Language: English
What to bring: closed shoes, long trousers, backpack, water bottle, change of clothes in case kids get wet or muddy, raincoat, sun hat.
Field equipment: Binoculars, compasses, microscopes, magnifying lenses, etc will be provided to observe and examine in detail nature's treasures
NOTE: in case of really bad weather (i.e. heavy rain and thunderstones, strong winds) the session will be canceled and you will get reimbursed.
