Fledging

3rd of June

The four Song thrush babies have been well fed by their parents these last two weeks. The have have left their nest on the 3rd of June at fifteen days of life. They are currently staying in the area and fed by their mom and dad. During this period they will learn how to catch small insects and other invertebrates, and eat berries. Their parents will teach them this and how to escape from possible predators. They are learning many things to be capable to survive!

Below a video of clips of their growth from day 1 to day 14.
